Robert A. Corley Jr.
Services for Robert A. ``Bob'' Corley Jr. will be at 2 p.m. Friday in
Emmanuel Baptist Church, Alexandria, with Drs. Udell Smith and
Larry Taylor officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Memorial Park,
Pineville, under direction of Hixson Bros., Pineville.
Corley, 82, of Pineville died Wednesday, Jan. 13, 1999, in Rapides
Regional Medical Center.
He was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church since 1926, a member of
Pineville Kiwanis Club for 52 years and a 1937 graduate of Louisiana
College. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II and owner and
operator of Corley Plumbing and Heating since 1945.
Surviviors include two sons, Robert A. Corley III and David Hunt
Corley, both of Pineville; one daughter, Mary Nell Corley Berry of
Deer Park, Texas; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Friends may call from 5-9 p.m. Thursday and from 10 a.m.
until noon Friday in the funeral home and from 1 p.m. until time
of services in the church.
