Hatcher, Robert

Robert Hatcher, 71, of Beaumont, died Monday, September 22, 2008 at Memorial Hermann Baptist Beaumont Hospital.

A native of Sykes [sic Sikes], Louisiana and resident of the Beaumont area for thirty-one years, Mr. Hatcher was a manager for Baker's Shoe Store.

Survivors include his wife, Barbara Hatcher of Beaumont; daughter, Kellye Mumme of Lewisville; sons, Greg Hatcher and his wife Rhonda and Mike Hatcher and his wife Crystal all of Beaumont; grandchildren, Erin Mumme, Valarie Mumme and Tori Mumme all of Lewisville, Caitlin Hatcher, Trevor Hatcher, Kristin Hatcher and Heather Jones all of Beaumont; sister, Jimmye Akins of Monroe, Louisiana; sister-in-law, Jean Hatcher of Winfield [sic Winnfield], Louisiana; and numerous nieces and nephews.

His parents, James Hatcher and Jessie Emmons; and brother, Carroll Hatcher preceded him in death.

Memorial service will be 1:00 p.m. Sunday, September 28, 2008 at Broussard's, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. A gathering of family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Saturday, September 27, 2008 at the Mortuary.
