Robert E. Leon McCarta, 61, of Sebring, died Nov. 9, 2004, in Sebring.
He had been a resident of Sebring since 1958, coming from Auburndale.
He worked for Westinghouse Communities Inc. and retired from Wauchula State Farmers Market. He served in the United States Army in Germany. He was a member of the Highlands Seminole Club and founding member of Central Florida Performance Association.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara (Fulton); son, Sean P. of Lake Placid; daughter, Erin M. of Sebring; sister, Marcia Winstead of Mesquite, Texas; brother, Talmadge J. of Bismarck, Ariz. [sic Ark.]; and one grandson.
Visitation will be from 3:30-4 p.m. today at First United Methodist Church Chapel in Sebring. A funeral service will follow at 4 p.m., at the church chapel.
Memorial contributions may be made to American Heart Association or American Lung Association or Scholarship Fund at First United Methodist Church.
Arrangements are being handled by Morris Funeral Chapel in Sebring.
