ARNOLD, ROBERT E. SR.

Died at 4:10 a.m. Monday, March 5 at Earl K. Long Hospital. He was 55, a native of Lucien, Miss. and resident of Walker. Was a retired heavy equipment operator. Body at Seale Funeral Home, Denham Springs until 1:30 p.m. Tuesday. Religious rites at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the New Bethlehem Baptist Church, Walker, the Rev. L. A. Morris, the Rev. T. Kennison and the Rev. Jerry Arnold officiating. Burial in Salem Cemetery.

Survived by his wife, Mrs. Frances Elaine Arnold, Walker; two daughters, Mrs. Dallas (Sarah) Severio, Livingston and Mrs. Robert (Nelda) Hatcher, Gonzales; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Alton (Lawanna) McDowell Jr., Walker; two sons, Robert E. Arnold Jr., and James H. Arnold, both of Denham Springs; a stepson, Ralph A. Dove, China Lake, Calif.; four sisters, Mrs. Lee (Edna) Day, Jonesville; Mrs. James (Monelle) Snoddy, Walker, and Mrs. Hardy (Irene) Cobb and Mrs. Howard (Liz) Pittman, both of Denham Springs; two brothers, John and George Arnold, both of Walker; 11 grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers.
