Robert McDonald Sr.

RAYVILLE -- Robert E. McDonald Sr., 60, of Rayville, died Sunday afternoon in Richland Parish Hospital here after a lengthy illness.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home here with Rev. Don Gentry and Brother Jessie Eppinette officiating.

Burial will be in the Rayville Masonic Cemetery.

Mr. McDonald was a heavy equipment operator for the Louisiana Department of Highways. He had worked with the state for 25 years and was a member of the Eastside Baptist Church.

Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Robert E. McDonald of Rayville; two sons, Stanley E. McDonald of Shreveport, and Ronnie M. McDonald of Rayville; one daughter, Mrs. Herman J. Primm of Shreveport; two brothers, Louis McDonald of Delhi, and Joe McDonald of Hebert; one sister, Mrs. Rosalie Hebert of Delhi; one grandchild and one great - grandchild.
