BASTROP, LA. - Memorial services for Mr. Robert Fletcher Hudson, Sr. will be held 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 15, 2011 at the Believer's Worship Center in Bastrop with the Reverend Danny Freeman officiating.
Robert Fletcher Hudson was born July 1, 1929 in Ashley County, Arkansas to Wanda Loflin Hudson Walker and the late Ernest Randall Hudson. He passed away Sunday evening, June 12, 2011 at Morehouse General Hospital in Bastrop. Mr. Hudson was a veteran of World War II and a retired truck driver. He loved gospel music and enjoyed singing and songwriting.
He is preceded in death by his wife Ophelia Coker Hudson, his step-mother Annie French Hudson, two brothers and four sisters.
Mr. Hudson is survived by his son, Robert Fletcher Hudson, Jr. and his wife Emma of Bastrop, his mother Wanda Loflin Walker, and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at the church following the memorial services.
