DIED.
Robert Franklin, son of W. F. and Mrs. N. E. Corley, was born at Georgetown, La., July 23, 1907, and died near Georgetown at the home of his uncle, A. E. Barrett, Aug. 22, 1913. Six yea[r]s and one day less than one month, marks the bounds of his short stay on earth. For more than two weeks he had been a patient sufferer. The disease that ended his little life would not yield to medical attention. Everything practicable was administered by a faithful physician and kind hands, but death claimed him, and the little sufferer ceased to live. The hearts of the parents, brothers and sisters are bowed in sorrow at this their great loss. This is the fourth time they have been called upon to give up a child. How sad it is for them to have to part with their children, yet in the midst of deep sorrow, the Lord is very near to give solace, and sustain those who put their trust in Him. Christ is our hope in this li[f]e, as well as in death and the life beyond. Be faithful to the end, sorrows borne only makes a crown brighter n the glory world.
