KITCHENS, ROBERT E. LEE `BOB'

Robert E. Lee ``Bob'' Kitchens, a retired warehouse foreman for Delta Match Co., died Monday of congestive heart failure at his home. He was 82. Mr. Kitchens was born in Montrose, Miss., and lived in Kenner for the past 48 years. He attended Calhoun High School in Jones County, Miss. He was a deacon at Williams Boulevard Baptist Church and a lifetime deacon at First Baptist Church in Kenner.

Survivors include his wife, Raviel Hathorn ``Rae'' Kitchens; a son, Daniel L. Kitchens; a daughter, Juanese ``Neesie'' K. Calkins of League City, Texas; a grandchild; and three great-grandchildren.

A funeral will be held today at 10:30 a.m. at L.A. Muhleisen & Son Funeral Home, 2607 Williams Blvd., Kenner. Visitation will begin at 8:30 a.m. A graveside service will be held today at 3:30 p.m. at Sunset Gardens Cemetery in Laurel, Miss.
