Robert L. Miller

Services for Robert L. Miller will be at 2 p.m. Sunday in Birds Creek Baptist Church with the Rev. Ed Cotton officiating. Burial will be in Heard Cemetery under direction of Community Memorial, Winnsboro.

Miller, 74, of Harrisonburg died Friday, Feb. 18, 2000, in Veterans Affairs Medical Center.

He was a resident of Catahoula Parish and a retired ironworker. He was a member of the Baptist faith and served in the U.S. Army during World War II.

Survivors include his wife, Billie M. Miller of Harrisonburg; one son, Robert Miller Jr. of Harrisonburg; one daughter, Dora Evans of Harrisonburg; two brothers, Richard Miller of Jacksonville, Fla., and Harry Miller of Story, Ark.; three daughters, Annie Lou Sanson and Daisey Rambo, both of Jonesville, and Estell Richards of Monterey; and four grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Glenn Bass, Jerry Bass, Leroy Bass, J.W. Nugent, Jim Brannan and Dennis Ford.
