Mr. R. L. Fountain Claimed By Death In Florida Home

It will be grievous news to his host of Taylor county friends to learn of the passing of Mr. Robert Lee Fountain, which occurred Tuesday night at his home at Monticello, Fla., following a lingering illness.

Mr. Fountain, a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. A. J. Fountain, was born and reared in Butler, but had been a resident of the Florida city in which he died for the past several years.

Surviving Mr. Fountain, besides his wife who was before their marriage Miss Mary Lizzie Garrett, formerly of this county; four sons, Messrs Luther, Jack and Robert, of Monticello, and Hoke Smith Fountain of Ohio; five grandchildren. He is a brother of Mrs. G. C. Smith, of Butler; Mr. T. J. Fountain, of Reynolds; and Mr. J. E. Fountain, of Milledgeville.

Funeral services will be held at the Bloodworth cemetery near Charing at 3 o'clock this afternoon when the body will arrive at that point from Monticello, Fla.
