Robert Lee Ward

Funeral services for Robert Lee Ward, 78, of Winnsboro were held at 2 p.m., Sept. 27, in the Chapel of Winnsboro First National Funeral Home.

Interment was in Oak Grove Cemetery, with the Rev. Milton Williams and the Rev. Joe Joyner officiating.

A native of Winnsboro, he was born Nov. 12, 1906. He was a retired farmer. He died on Sept. 25, 1985, following a brief illness.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Lela B. Ward, Winnsboro; one son, Robert L. Ward, Jr., Swartz; two grandsons, Michael Ward and John Robert Ward and one great-grandchild.

Pallbearers were O. L. Garner. Lloyd Torrey, Sonny Wilson, John C. Cuney, Buddy Potter, Johnny Duncan.
