Robert M. White
Robert Mack White, 50, of Gloster, died Jan. 24, 2003, in Gloster.
Visitation will be 11 a.m. today until time of religious services at 2 p.m. in the Brown Funeral Home Chapel in Gloster with the Rev. Robert Toney and the Rev. Odus Jackson. Burial will be in the New Hope Cemetery.
White was born Aug. 24, 1952, in Jackson. He was the son of Robin White and Mavis McPhail Dawson. He was a logging contractor and a member of the Baptist faith.
He was preceded in death by his father, Robin White; his step-father, Mann Dawson and his grandmother, Bonnie G. McPhail.
Survivors include one son, Dylan White of Addis, La.; one daughter, Emily White of Addis; his mother, Mavis McPhail Dawson of Gloster; one brother, Joey Dawson of Gloster and one sister and brother-in-law, Patsy and Ray Towles of Gloster; six step brothers, Gaylon Dawson of Moraburg, Tenn., Bobby Dawson and Stanley Dawson, both of Ferriday, La., Raymond Dawson of Morecraft, Tenn., Larry Dawson of Natchez and Maurice Dawson of Brookhaven; four step sisters, Alpha Sharpe, Patricia Dawson and Edith Wills, all of Brookhaven, and Agnes Faye Wilson of Willis, Texas.
Pallbearers will be Tony Dodgen, Charlie Ravencraft, Lynn Taylor, Mark Havard, Douglass Iverson and Mike Tynes.
