ROSENTHAL, ROBERT MARK

Died 7:08 a.m. Friday, Jan. 26, 1996, at Baton Rouge General Medical Center. He was 49 and a lifelong resident of Baton Rouge. He was president of Petrin Corp., Port Allen, served on the grants committee of Baton Rouge Area Foundation, a founding member of Americas Initiative and Louisiana Chemical Industry Alliance and an original board member of Swine Palace Productions. Visiting at Rabenhorst Funeral Home, 825 Government St., 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday. Visiting at Temple B'Nai Israel, 3354 Kleinert Ave., 10 a.m. until memorial services at 11 a.m. Monday, conducted by Rabbi Barry Weinstein and the Rev. Chris Andrews. Interment will be private.

Survived by wife, Angela Sue ``SuSu'' McCarty Rosenthal; two sons, Samuel Mark Rosenthal and Andrew Scott Rosenthal; parents, Robert M. and Elise Cohn Rosenthal; a sister and brother-in-law, Ruth and George Bilbe, New Orleans; a sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Kathryn and Kenneth Drake; mother-in-law, Grace McCarty Blair; two nephews, Jason and Mitchell Bilbe, both of Virginia; and two nieces, Mary Elizabeth and Margaret Drake, both of Baton Rouge.

He was a 1964 graduate of University High School and a 1968 graduate of Duke University. He was a member of Congregation B'Nai Israel, active in Associated Builders and Contractors and National Conference of Christians and Jews. He reigned as King Achilles XXXVI and was past president of Mystic Krewe of Achilles. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Baton Rouge Area Foundation, 301 Main St., 70801.
