Robert M. Jackson
GLOSTER -- Robert Monette Jackson, 63, of Gloster, died July 17, 1994, at Southwest Mississippi Regional Medical Center.
Services were at 1 p.m. today at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church, with the Revs. Joe Jackson, Julian Burt and Keith Zachary officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery, with Brown Funeral Home of Gloster in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Jackson was born Nov. 6, 1930, in Amite County. He was the son of Vada Jackson of Gloster and the late Webster Jackson.
He was retired from Armstrong Rubber Co. of Natchez and a member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church.
He also was preceded in death by an infant son.
Other survivors include his wife, Sarah Mae Short Jackson of Gloster; two sons, Samuel Monette Jackson of Madison and Leroy Jackson of Plaquemine, La.; two daughters, Mickey Hollingsworth of Gloster and Edna Jackson McCarthy of Tustin, Calif.; one brother, Daniel Lee Jackson of Liberty; and six grandchildren.
