ROBERT N. CLEARY
WINNFIELD (Special) -- Robert N. Cleary, 71, of here, died Thursday afternoon at a local hospital after a brief illness.
Funeral services were held at the First Baptist Church here 11 a.m. Friday conducted by Dr. W. L. Holcomb. Burial followed in Harmony Grove Cemetery by Southern Funeral Home.
Mr. Cleary was a native of Arkansas and a retired railroad employee. At the time of his death he was employed by the City of Winnfield as a police radio operator.
Surviving are the widow, Mrs. Jessie Cleary; three sons, Jesse C., Monroe, Dennis, Detroit, Tex.; Robert E., Houston, Tex.; a step-son, William J. Wood, Monroe; two daughters, Mrs. Fletcher Hinton, Stuttgart, Germany, and Mrs. W. A. Beard, Vidalia; a brother, Annul Cleary, Texarkana, Ark.; a sister, Mrs. Janie Bearden, Texarkana, and 11 grandchildren.
