Dugan McFaddin
STRAWN -- Robert (Dugan) McFaddin, 70, of Gordan died at 9:40 a.m. Friday in a local hospital after a brief illness. Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the Gordon First Baptist Church.
The Rev. Bill Smith, Methodist minister, will officiate, assisted by the Rev. Bill Wright, pastor. Burial will be in New Gordon Cemetery, directed by Edwards Funeral Home.
Born March 27, 1907, in Gordon, he was an employee of Lone Star Gas Co., retiring after 43 years. He married Ola Rogers Jan. 24, 1936, in Strawn. He was a Baptist. He was a member of the Gordon Masonic Lodge.
Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Nancy Edwards of Milford; a son, Robert of Carrollton; four sisters, Mrs. J.L. Fulbright of Victoria, Mrs. W.V. Robbins of Mineral Wells, Opal Hare of Oklahoma and Tennie Haney of San Angelo; and three grandchildren.
