Dr. Robert R. Sills

Services for Dr. Robert R. Sills, will be at 3:30 p.m. today in the chapel of Hixson Bros., Pineville with the Revs. Murray Smith and Ben Carter officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Memorial Park.

Sills, 80, of Natchitoches, died Monday, April 10, 1995, in Natchitoches Parish Hospital.

He was a native of Crowville and a member of First Baptist Church. He was a 1938 graduate of Louisiana College and a 1947 graduate of Louisiana State University Medical School. He practiced medicine in Natchitoches for 40 years and he was a U.S. Army veteran.

Survivors include his wife, Mary J.S. Sills of Natchitoches; two sons, John P. Sills and Robert R. Sills Jr., both of Baton Rouge; four sisters, Dixie Smith of Alexandria, Sylvia Brown of Waco, Texas, Nell Tolbert of Wake Forest, N.C., and Ann Thornhill of West Monroe; and two grandchildren.

Friends may call from 2 p.m. until time of services in the funeral home.
