Robert S. Hines Dies; Services Slated Tuesday

Funeral services for Robert S. Hines, 52, of 410 Harn St., Monroe, will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home of Monroe.

Burial will be in the Greenwood Cemetery in Ruston under the direction of Mulhearn's.

Mr. Hines died unexpectedly Sunday night in West Monroe. He was fatally stricken about 6:15 p.m. when he had driven his truck to a West Monroe grocery store.

Mr. Hines was a native of Ruston, a member of the Methodist Church and a veteran of World War II. He had been a resident of Monroe since 1953.

Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Anita Hines of Monroe; one daughter, Miss Lisa Anne Hines of Monroe; and his mother, Mrs. Maude Hines of Ruston.

Former Resident Dies Suddenly

A former resident of Ruston, Robert S. Hines, 52, died suddenly Sunday night while returning to Monroe after visiting his mother in Ruston.

Funeral services for Mr. Hines will be held today at 2:00 p.m. at Mulherns [sic Mulhearn's] Funeral Home Chapel in Monroe, with burial to follow in the Greenwood Cemetery in Ruston.

Hines is survived by his wife, Nita Hines; one daughter, Lisa Hines, both of Monroe, and his mother, Mrs. Louis Hines, of Ruston.
