SIMONS, ROBERT S.

Died 2:40 a.m. Monday, Sept. 4, at his residence, 2713 Laurel St., a native of Boyce, he was 67. Calling hours at Rabenhorst Funeral Home, 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday when funeral services will be held from the Rabenhorst chapel, conducted by the Rev. Meriam Reynolds. Interment in Roselawn Memorial Park.

Survived by his wife, the former Jessie Gautreaux, Baton Rouge; one daughter, Miss Jessye Maitland Simons, Baton Rouge; two sisters, Mrs. J. A. Ingram, Weatherford, Tex., and Mrs. Frank A. Vought Sr., Baton Rouge; three brothers, W. L. Simons, Boyce, G. S. Simons, Fort Worth, Tex., and Dr. H. H. Simons, Kaufman, Tex.

He is a retired cartographer with the Louisiana Department of Public Works and a former employe of the Louisiana Highway Department.
