ROBERT STEVE MCKEITHEN

JENA (Special) -- Final rites for Robert Steve McKeithen, 47-year old grocer of Tullos, were conducted today at 2:30 p.m. at the New Union Baptist Church near Tullos.

Officiating were the Rev. E. D. Dearman and the Rev. E. T. Carruth. Interment followed in the Welcome Home Cemetery at Grayson by Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of Jena.

A native of Grayson, Mr. McKeithen had lived in Tullos for many years. He died yesterday at his home.

Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Margie Elliott McKeithen, Tullos, a son, Robert M. McKeithen, Tullos; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Gabriel McKeithen, Grayson; six sisters, Mrs. Moise Saucier, Shreveport; Mrs. Lloyd Walters, Pineville; Mrs. Theresa LaBorde, Covington; Mrs. Clyde Biggs, Kelly; Mrs. Bill Gates, Boyce, and Mrs. A. W. Carr, Port LaVaca, Tex., and two brothers, A. G., Bloomington, Tex., and O. A. McKeithen, Bogalusa.
