Eunice Resident Killed in Crash

Robert Weeks, 55, an oil company worker of RFD Eunice, died instantly at 3 a.m. Thursday when his car struck the center barrier on U. S. 190 at Torbett, between Erwinville and Livonia in Pointe Coupee Parish.

Weeks was traveling west and apparently lost control, according to Coroner Dr. J.C. Roberts.

Ardoin Funeral Home in Eunice reported that funeral services were to be at 3 p.m. today at First Baptist Church, Eunice. Burial will be in St. Augustine Cemetery, Basile.

Survivors are his widow, the former Irene Sonnier, Eunice, and a brother, Levy Weeks, Oakdale.
