Funeral for R. C. Jay Held At Marshall

Funeral services for Robinson C. Jay, 87, of near Bethany were held Wednesday, June 3, at the Colonial Chapel, Sullivan Funeral Home in Marshall, with the Rev. Mouzon Biggs, pastor of Mt. Zion Methodist Church officiating. Burial was in a Marshall Cemetery.

Survivors include his widow, eight daughters, Mrs. Mary Johnson of Baytown, Texas, Mrs. C. P. Studdard and Miss Nell Thompson and Mrs. Mildred Cochrane, both of Tyler, Mrs. Erna Cochrane of Nevada, Mrs. Lee Sherman of California, and Mrs. J. J. Mobley of San Antonio, also a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
