Roland Lee McCraine
Aug. 12, 1949 - Feb. 6, 2010

Roland Lee McCraine, beloved husband, brother and friend, was a native of Baton Rouge, born Aug. 12, 1949. He was a graduate of Istrouma High School and employed at Sears Service Center for 28 years, Crawler Supply Co. and Express Delivery Service. He was a former longtime member of Winbourne Avenue Baptist Church, former member of Westminster Presbyterian Church and St. James Episcopal Church.

Survived by his wife, Jill Simmonds McCraine; sister and brother-in-law, Suzanne McCraine Rome and Jackie Rome; brother-in-law, Ross Simmonds; three nephews, Jordan Rome and wife Lindsay, Jon Rome and Chase Simmonds; and niece, Taylor Simmonds.

Preceded in death by his parents, Richard Tillery McCraine and Sybil Robertson McCraine; and grandparents, Robert Lee and Myrtis Tillery McCraine, Roland Pitt and Mora Hathaway Robertson.

Graveside service will be Wednesday, Feb. 10, at Evergreen Cemetery, Woodville, Miss., at 3 p.m., conducted by Hank Henagan, pastor.
