Ronald J. Young
Funeral services for Ronald Jacob Young, 42, will be at 1 p.m. today, June 30, in Johnson Funeral Home. The Rev. Marcus Johnson will officiate. Burial will be in Westlake Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Visitation is from 8 a.m.
Mr. Young died Wednesday, June 27, 2001, in his residence.
He was a native of DeQuincy and lived most of his life in Lake Charles. He
was an Army veteran. He was a heavy-equipment mechanic with R.J. Young
Repair Service. He was an oiler and a member of Teamsters Local 406.
Survivors include his wife, Gertrude Marie Chesson Young of Lake Charles;
one daughter, Andre Young of Lake Charles; one son, Allen Wayne Young of
Lake Charles; two sisters, Cheryl Russum of Lake Charles and Debbie Litzen
of Carlyss; and his father and stepmother, Mr. and Mrs. Ronald J. (Marty)
Young of Moss Bluff.
