RONALD JAMES GANSEMER
June 21, 1941 - July 16, 2008

Ronald James Gansemer, 67 Weeping Water Died Wednesday, July 16th, 2008 while in the company of family members at his residence.

Ronald was born in Nehawka, Nebraska on June 21, 1941, the son of the late Clell and Dorothy (Sedlak ) Gansemer. Graduated Weeping Water High School Class of 1958. He served in the U.S. Army in Co A as a SP4(T) in the Vietnam War. Employed at Ash Grove For 46 years. A member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Boilmakers Union Local #, American Legion Post #237 and VFW.

Ronald is survived by his wife Kathy M. (Campbell) Gansemer, Married on April 20, 1963 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Manley; a daughter, Lisa, wife of Mike Barrett of Weeping Water NE; a son, Brian, husband of Mary Gansemer of Lincoln NE; Four Grandchildren, Katherine and Claire Gansemer, Kendall and Peyton Barrett; two sisters, Joann Petereit of Cedar Creek NE., Phylis Hespin of Glenwood IA; a brother, Duane, husband of Ruth Gansemer of Murdock NE; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Preceded in death by his Parents, one Sister Sharon Kreji and one Brother Alfred Gansemer.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Manley , at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, July 19th, with Fr. Patrick Murphy and Fr. Joseph Mroczkowski officiating. Visitation will be Friday 1-5 p.m.at Hammons Funeral Chapel Rosary will be at 7:00 p.m. Friday St. Patrick's Catholic Church. Interment at St. Patrick's Catholic Cemetery Rural Manley.
