Ronald ``Joe'' Crum, Sr.
(April 12, 1953 - April 1, 2012)

Funeral service for Ronald ``Joe'' Crum, Sr., 58 of Winnsboro, will be held at 2 PM Tuesday, April 3, 2012 in Chase Pentecostal Church near Winnsboro with Rev. Virgil Harris and Rev. Curtis Harris officiating. Interment will follow in Oakley Cemetery in Gilbert under the direction of Gill First National Funeral Home of Winnsboro. Visitation will begin at 5PM Monday at Chase Pentecostal Church.

Mr. Crum was born to Clinton and Pauline Hedgepeth Crum on April 12, 1953 in Winnsboro and passed from this Sunday, April 1, 2012 at his residence in Winnsboro.

Mr. Crum was a heavy equipment mechanic. He worked 19 years for Louisiana Machinery before retiring, and then worked 14 years for Franklin Parish Police Juror. He was a doting grandfather to his four grandchildren, loved gardening and using his handyman skills whenever needed.

He is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law: Ronald Joe Crum, Jr. and Wendy McMurray Crum of Winnsboro, and Kenneth Crum and Katie Kimball Crum of Gilbert; four grandchildren Logan, Karlyn, Adreanna, and John Riley Crum; two brothers Donald Ray Crum of Columbia and Tim Crum of Vicksburg; three sisters Merlie Atcheson of Winnsboro, Betty Atcheson of Tallulah and Brenda Gomes of Walker; three half sisters Delia Stowe, Teresa Milton and Cindy Borne; special brother in law Edward Atcheson; numerous nieces and nephews and a host of friends.

Pallbearers will be Ed Atcheson, James David Atcheson, Daniel Crum, Keith Hawthorne, Todd McMurray and Tony McMurray.

Honorary pallbearers will be Jerry Harvey and Gili Saldana.
