Mrs. W. S. Webb Dies At Tuskegee

TUSKEGEE, ALA., Jan. 2. -- (Special) -- Mrs. W. S. Webb, wife of the tax collector of Macon County, died at her home here late today after a short illness. Funeral will be held Tuesday at 2:30 p.m. from the residence, with burial in the Tuskegee Cemetery, Thompson in charge, The Rev. Robert L. Bell, pastor of the Presbyterian Church will officiate, assisted by the Rev. H. C. Threadgill, pastor of the Methodist Church.

Mrs. Webb, a native of Blocton, was a member of the Presbyterian Church. Surviving are her husband and one son, W. A. Webb, of Tuskegee; three brothers, W. W. Wallace, of New Orleans, A. M. Wallace, of Tuskegg, and Frank C. Wallace, of Shorter; six sisters, Mrs. J. H. Ham, of Birmingham, Miss Nell Wallace, of Dixianna, Mrs. A. J. Segrest, of Shorter, Mrs. J. T. Slack, of Tuskegee, Mrs. E. Oswald and Mrs. W. H. Winston, of Montgomery.
