Mrs. R. L. Hawthorne
JONESVILLE (Special) -- Funeral services for Mrs. Rosie Lee Hawthorne, 63, who died Sunday afternoon in a Jonesville clinic, will be held 3 p.m. Tuesday at the Evangeline Baptist Church with the pastor, the Rev. W. P. Lee, officiating.
A lifelong resident of Catahoula Parish, Mrs. Hawthorne was a member of Evangeline Baptist Church at Wildsville.
Burial will be in New Jena Cemetery under direction of Comer Funeral Home of Ferriday.
Survivors include her husband, Henry Curtis Hawthorne, Jonesville; one son, Alfred C. Hawthorne, Waco, Tex.; three daughters, Mrs. Odessa Trisler, Mayna, La., Mrs. Callie Greeg [sic Gregg], Opelousas, and Mrs. Marie Boyce, San Diego, Calif.; four brothers, An[illegible] Clark, Jena, Alonzo Clark, Pineville, H. E. Clark and L. L. Clark both of Sulphur; three sisters, Mrs. Beatrice Wiley, Ferriday, Mrs. Roy Carson, Lismore, and Mrs. Clark Ezell, Jena; and eight grandchildren.
Serving as pallbearers will be Aulcie Hawthorne, Herbert Hawthorne, Ronald Hawthorne, Leland Wiley, Cyrus E. Wiley, and Jerry T. Wiley.
