Services for Mrs. Rosa L. Howell, 73, of West Monroe, will be held at 10:00 AM, Tuesday, January 21, 2003, at Kilpatrick Funeral Home Chapel, West Monroe, with Rev. Mary Greer officiating. Interment will follow at Riverview Cemetery, Monroe, under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home, West Monroe.

Mrs. Howell died Saturday, January 18, 2003, in Shreveport following a sudden illness.

Mrs. Howell was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd M. Howell and two daughters, Sheila Howell and Shirley Tolbird.

She is survived by her seven children, Floyd M. Howell, Jr., Isaac Daniel Howell, Glenda Wooden, all of West Monroe, Janis King of Eros, Hershel DeWayne Howell, Kenneth Ray Howell, and Paula Denise Howell, all of West Monroe; 12 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, one sister, Lilli Mae Tucker of Sikes and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Stacy Tolbird, Shannon Ates, Jeromy Howell, Terry Wooden, Jason Howell and Trey Howell.

Visitation will be from 5:00 until 9:00 PM on Monday, January 20, at Kilpatrick Funeral Home, West Monroe, LA.
