Mrs. Rosa Holt Dies At Hurst
Mrs. Rosa A. Holt, 82, a former Lubbock resident, died Monday in a hospital in Hurst, where she had lived the past eight years.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Sanders Memorial Chapel here, with burial in City of Lubbock Cemetery under direction of Sanders Funeral Home.
Mrs. Holt had lived in Lubbock all her life until 1962, she [sic when] she moved to Hurst.
Survivors include a son, Virgil of Hurst; two daughters, Mrs. Gladys Smith of Grand Prairie and Mrs. Beedie Austin of Lubbock; four sisters, Mrs. Ruby Carr of Wichita Falls, Mrs. Lottie Farrar of Austin, Mrs. Elsie Selts [sic Elfie Felts] of Colorado City and Mrs. Bessie [sic Dessie] Jones of Snyder; three brothers, Oda Kelley of Brownsville, Ras Kelley of Idalou and Fred Kelley of 3702 E. 3rd St.; seven grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
