Mrs. Rosa L. Woolsey
HAPPY -- Funeral services for Mrs. Rosa Lee Woolsey, 69, resident of Happy since 1941, will be at 2 p.m. Friday in the LaGrone Funeral Chapel in Canyon. The Rev. Strauss Atkinson, pastor of the Canyon First Baptist Church, will officiate.
Burial will be in the Happy Cemetery.
Mrs. Woolsey died Wednesday morning in Neblett Hospital in Canyon where she had been a patient one day.
She was married to E. C. Woolsey in Milford in 1914. The couple formerly owned the 87 Cafe in Happy for several years.
Surviving are her husband; daughters, Mrs. Erbie Powell of Happy, Mrs. Margaret Cole of Vallejo, Calif., and Mrs. Geraldine Cole of Duncanville; sons, Harold of Canyon, Kenneth of Mansfield and Donald R. of 1516 Maple in Amarillo; a sister, Mrs. Martha Ezell of Corpus Christi; brothers, Willie Jones of King and Henry and Chester Jones of Darnell; 17 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
