Mrs. Rosa Diffey Funeral Is Today

Funeral services for Mrs. Rosa Lee Diffey, 80, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Haughton Methodist church with the Rev. Warren Dement, pastor of Pease chapel, officiating.

Mrs. Diffey died at her home in Fillmore Thursday, following a long illness. She is a native of Mississippi, and had been a resident of Fillmore for over 60 years.

Mrs. Diffey is survived by her husband, S. W. Diff[e]y; three daughters, Mrs. Frank Cook of Haughton, Mrs. H. D. Musser of Shreveport, and Miss Pearl Diff[e]y of Cullen; two sons, L. E. Diffey of Bossier City and J. R. Diffey of Shreveport; one brother, J. J. Strange of Benton; one sister, Mrs. Daisy Harris of Oklahoma City; 13 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson.

Mrs. Diffey was a member of the Haughton Methodist church. Burial will be in the Fillmore cemetery under the direction of Rose-Neath funeral home.
