Rosalie Dunn

Services for Rosalie Stickley Dunn will be at 1 p.m. Saturday in the chapel of Hixson Bros. with the Rev. Charles Gwaltney officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Memorial Park, Pineville.

Mrs. Dunn, 83, of Baton Rouge died at 2 a.m. Wednesday in Our Lady of the Lake Medical Center, Baton Rouge.

She was a retired dietician and was the former manager of the Baptist Hospital restaurant in Alexandria.

She was a former resident of Alexandria, and was known as “Mama Dunn” to thousands of pageant participants across the country. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Baton Rouge, and a former member of Emmanuel Baptist Church in Alexandria. She was a member of the Altrusa Club and the Business and Professional Women's Club, and the American Businesswoman's Club.

Survivors include three sons, Dr. G. Dewey Dunn of Nashville, Tenn., Carl D. Dunn of Baton Rouge and Charles O. Dunn of Miami, Fla.; one sister, Mary Jane Griffin of Pineville; and six grandchildren.
