Rose Irene Halford

BUDE -- Services for Rose Irene Halford, 79, of Meadville, who died Tuesday, Feb. 22, 2000, at Natchez Community Hospital, will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Bude Church of God with the Rev. Al Stockton officiating.

Burial will be at Midway Cemetery under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.

Visitation is from 2 p.m. until today at the church.

Mrs. Halford was born July 1, 1920, in Lena, La., the daughter of Hutton and Jessie Stanley Daniels. She was a member of Bude Church of God and a resident of Meadville for the past 15 years.

Survivors include her husband, Riley Halford of Meadville; six daughters, Thelma L. Blythe of Lebanon, Tenn., Margaret S. Craven of Pelahatchie, Charlotte F. Tenorio and Carolyn L. Halford of Pearl, Ritha E. Mercer and Loriene D. Renfrow of Natchez; three sons, Alton R. Daniels, John A. Daniels and Jessie M. Daniels, all of Natchez; 33 grandchildren; 50 great-grandchildren; four brothers, James ``Sambo'' Free of Lena, Francis M. Daniels of Calcashieu, La., Elmer Daniels of Lena and Benny Lee Daniels of Liberty, Texas; and four stepchildren, Elaine Glidden of Natchez, Barbara I. Beinvenu of Jackson, Jimmy Halford of Natchez and Glen Halford of Pearl.

Pallbearers will be her grandsons.

The family request memorials be made to the Bude Church of God.
