MOTSINGER
Mrs. Rosehannah Porter Motsinger, 78, of Polo Road died Thursday, July 20, 2000, at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. Mrs. Motsinger was born Aug. 14, 1921, in Winn Parish, La. to John Baxter and Docia Miller Porter. She was a graduate of BMI in Monroe, La., and was married to A.C. Motsinger Jr. for 58 years. Mrs. Motsinger was a former employee of Jim Weavil Appliances, a member of the Oldtown Civic Club and a member of Becks Baptist Church. She was active in the Women's Missionary Union and was a Sunday school teacher for 25 years.
Surviving are her husband, A.C. Motsinger Jr. and a son, Carlton Motsinger both of the residence; a sister, Mary D. Gerace (Samuel) of Cary; a brother-in-law, Clarence Motsinger; and a sister-in-law, Irene Cranfill.
The funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 22, 2000, at Becks Baptist Church by Dr. James Nelson and the Rev. John Bost. Interment will follow at Forsyth Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Funeral Home.
