Mrs. Rosie Davis

OAK GROVE (Special) -- Funeral services for Mrs. Rosie Lee Davis, 44, of Oak Grove, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Trinity Baptist Church with Dr. Clifton Tennison officiating.

Burial will be in the Oak Grove Cemetery under the direction of First National Funeral Home of Oak Grove.

Mrs. Davis died at 3:25 p.m. Thursday at her residence after a lengthy illness.

Survivors include her husband, James E. Davis Sr., of Oak Grove; five sons, Bobby Joe Davis of Fort Smith, Ark., James E. Davis Jr., William E. Davis, Earl R. Davis, Louis R. Davis, all of Oak Grove; five daughters, Mrs. Wanda Rose Strickland, Miss Betty Jo Davis, Miss Becky Davis, Miss Hope Elaine Davis, all of Oak Grove, Mrs. Maudine Martinez of Tiffin, Ohio; her mother, Mrs. Maudine Mercer of Winnsboro; three sisters, Mrs. Olave [sic Ola V.] Griffith of Oak Grove, Mrs. Eula Bee Wright of Crowville, Miss Frances Mercer of Winnsboro; two brothers, W. J. Mercer of Tallulah, Willie William Mercer of Oak Grove; and three grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be James Griffith, Ronnie Elkins, Willie Davis, Louis C. Davis, Leon Freeman and Paul McMillian.
