SPRINGHILL, LA. - Services for Mrs. Rosie Mae Sanders, 70, of Springhill, will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday April 5 at the Bailey Mortuary Chapel in Springhill. Dr. Richard May will officiate. Graveside service at 4 p.m. at Memorial Park in Bastrop, La.
Visitation: 5 p.m. Friday until service time Saturday at Bailey Mortuary in Springhill.
Mrs. Sanders died Wednesday April 2, 1986, in Bastrop after a sudden illness. She was a native of Winnsboro, La. and had been a resident of Springhill for 19 years. She was a member of Spring Branch Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by a son, Rozell Sanders of Tallulah, La., and a grandson, Ricky Sanders of Bastrop.
She is survived by three sons, Billy Sanders of Springhill, Clifton Sanders of Sarepta, La. and Charles Sanders of Bastrop; three daughters, Myrtle Jones and Pat Colson, of Bastrop, Maxine Whetstone of Monroe, La.; one sister, Willie Frost of Delhi, La.; one brother, Carl Sanders of California; 18 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be grandsons.
