JONESVILLE -- Services for R. R. “Buddy” Willis will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in the chapel of Young's, Jonesville, with the Rev. Robert Spicer officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Pineville.
Willis, 71, of Monroe died Sunday, Nov. 26, 2000, in Glenwood Medical Center, West Monroe.
He was an agricultural consultant.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Dorris Womack Willis; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. L. D. Willis; and two brothers, Dr. Jack Willis and Dr. Don Willis.
Survivors include his wife, Kathryn Martin Willis of Monroe; one son, Lee Willis of Alexandria; five stepdaughters, Kathy Womack Knicely of Shreveport, Brenda Womack McIntosh and LaJean Womack Corbett, both of Ferriday, and Whitney Martin Ryan and Ashley Martin Daily, both of Monroe; one stepson, Gray Martin of Start; and 12 grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Donnie Willis, Stacey Scallion, Perry Corbett, Mac McIntosh, Bill Ryan and Ron Daily.
Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. today in the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude's Hospital or Cheniere Baptist Church, West Monroe.
