MRS. ROWENA DUNN

CLARKS, La., April 11. --(Special)-- Mrs. Rowena Dunn of Clarks, age 40, died at a Shreveport hospital, on Monday morning.

The funeral services were held on Tuesday morning, at the Baptist church, at Clarks, and interment was made in Old Bethel cemetery, west of Clarks. Rev. John Kitchenham, a Baptist pastor of Columbia, officiated at the services, assisted by Rev. Paul Jones of Clarks, and by Rev. L. C. Crain of Springhill Baptist church, near Kelly.

Surviving relatives are the husband, C. C. Dunn of Clarks; three daughters, Mrs. Arnold Sanders, Franklinton, Miss Geraldine Dunn and the infant daughter, Maralyn Rose Dunn, age two weeks, of Clarks; three sons, Curtis M. Dunn, Honolulu, Hawaii, Rupert Dunn and Merlon Dunn, Clarks; four sisters, Mrs. Elsie Smith and Mrs. H. W. Anders, Shreveport; Mrs. Doyle Woodruff and Mrs. Ernestine Roland, Baton Rouge; and one brother, Ernest Hanchey, Jr., Baton Rouge.
