Roy A. Greene
November 27, 1922 - May 8, 2003

Funeral services will be held in the Erickson & Brown Funeral Home Chapel on Monday afternoon at 1:00 p.m. for Taft resident, Roy A. Greene, 80. Greene was born in McNeil, Arkansas on November 27, 1922 and passed away in a Bakersfield hospital on May 8, 2003. On June 6, 1942 in Oak Grove he married Louverna Aarons. He served his country as a member of the U.S. Navy from 1944 to 1946. He worked for GP Farms as a foreman for 51 years and retired in 1987.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Fannie Greene, two brothers, four sisters, and by his daughter, Patty Cook, on June 15, 2001. Mr.Greene, is survived by his wife of 60 years, Louverna Greene; his sons Randy Greene, Mike Greene and Rodney Greene; his daughter, Gloria Rogers; his 10 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.

Those who wish to pay their respects may do so on Monday from 9:00 a.m. to service time at the Erickson & Brown Funeral Home.
