Roy Crum
ROXIE -- Roy Crum, 69, of Roxie, died Dec. 24, 1991, in Veterans Administration Hospital in Memphis, Tenn.
Funeral services were 2 p.m. today at Roxie Baptist Church with the Rev. Jimmy Mathis and the Rev. Darby Combs officiating. Burial was in Roxie Cemetery.
Parker's Franklin Funeral Home of Meadville was in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Crum was born Aug. 27, 1922, in Amite County. He was the son of the late Lonnie J. Crum and Ethel Baker Crum.
He was a retired millwright and lumber grader at Georgia-Pacific in Roxie. He was a member of Roxie Baptist Church and was a World War II Army veteran.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Hercules Crum; and one stepson, Jimmy Loyd Myers.
He is survived by his wife, Lonnie Lee Crum of Roxie; two stepdaughters, Betty Ann Bass of Jackson and Charlene Combs of Roxie; one stepson, Jackie Ratcliff of Mosselle; two sisters, Adele Cassanovia [sic Casanova] of Houston, Texas, and Annie B. Humpherys [sic Humphreys] of Red Lick; one brother, Irvin Crum of Houston, Texas; 10 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
