Roy G. Folse Sr.

SAREPTA -- Roy George Folse Sr., 72, of Sarepta died Saturday in LSU Medical Center in Shreveport after a long illness.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. today in Bailey Mortuary Chapel in Springhill with the Rev. James O. Evans officiating. Burial will be in Old Sarepta Cemetery.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Mary Folse of Sarepta; two sons, Roy G. Folse Jr. of Sarepta and John J. Downs of La Junta, Colo.; two daughters, Lynda Gibbs of Fenton, Mich., and Mary Ann Lennox of Abita Springs; one sister, Mrs. W. J. Wertzberger of Tyler, Texas; two brothers, C.L. Folse of Opelousas and J.B. Folse of Houston; and six grandchildren.
