Roy Traxler
Funeral services for Roy Traxler, 72, Pelahatchie, will be conducted at 3:30 p.m. Thursday in Lodebar Methodist church with Rev. A. Eugene Dyess and Rev. Guy Gray officiating. Interment will be in Lodebar cemetery under the direction of Baldwin Funeral Home.
Traxler died early Wednesday in Scott County Hospital after a two [?] illness. He was a native of Polkville and lived most of his life in Rankin County near Pelahatchie. He was a retired poultry farmer, and former constable of Pelahatchie and a member of Lodebar Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Ada Traxler, Pelahatchie; a daughter, Mrs. Joe Self, Jackson; two sons, John C. Martin, Selma, Alabama, C. Q. Martin, Fort Lee, Virginia; one sister, Mrs. Emmett Wood, Jackson and five grandchildren.
The body will be at the family residence until service hour.
