Roy Verlon Garr [sic Gaar]
WINNFIELD -- Services for Roy Verlon Garr [sic Gaar], 78, of Dodson will be at 10:30 a.m. today in the chapel of Edmond's with the Rev. Grayson Watson and Bishop Loy Garr [sic Gaar] officiating. Burial will be in New Hope at Garr's [sic Gaar's] Mill.
He died at 7:35 a.m. Tuesday in his home.
He was a native of Winn Parish and a retired farmer.
Survivors include his wife, Myrtis Crain Garr [sic Gaar] of Dodson; four sons, Earl Garr [sic Gaar] of Bernice, Jack Garr [sic Gaar] of Arcadia, Robert Garr [sic Gaar] of Tulsa, Okla., and Don Garr [sic Gaar] of Patterson; one brother, Edwin Garr [sic Gaar] of Dodson; one sister, Florene Kelley of Winnfield; and six grandchildren.
