Funeral Services for Ruba “Ruth” Oxner Fant, 83, of West Monroe, LA will be held at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, May 19, 2015 in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home West Monroe, LA with Dr. Woods Watson officiating. Interment will follow in the Kilpatrick Serenity Gardens in West Monroe, LA.

Mrs. Fant was born on April 5. 1932 in Clarks, LA and passed away on May 15, 2015 in West Monroe, LA. She was a member of First West in West Monroe, LA, where she also attended the Agape Sunday School Class. Mrs. Fant loved to crochet, working puzzles and also fishing. She is preceded in death by her husband, Thomas W. Fant Sr.; and her son, Thomas W. Fant, Jr.

Survivors include her sons, Roger G. Fant and wife Patty of Copperas Cove, TX, Michael S. Fant and Kenneth A. Fant both of West Monroe, LA; grandchildren, Lacy C. Johnson, Brandy L. Fant, Hailey R. Fant Bryan, Andrew T. Fant, Hunter D. Fant, and William L. Fant; eight great grandchildren; sisters, Margaret Crowell of Grayson, LA and Marie Murphy of Monroe, LA; brothers, John Oxner of West Monroe, LA and Charles Oxner of Jena, LA; along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made in Mrs. Fant's honor to First West in West Monroe, LA.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. Monday, May 18, 2015 at Mulhearn Funeral Home West Monroe, LA.
