Ruby Fay Fincher

Funeral services for Ruby Fay Fincher, 89 of Nacogdoches will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Sunset Memorial Chapel of Cason Monk-Metcalf Funeral Directors with Bro. Chet Strain officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Cemetery.

Mrs. Fincher was born September 15, 1915 , in Jacksonville to Claude [sic Clyde] and Jennie Hawthorn[e] Williams.

She was a homemaker and a member of Old North Church. In declining health she avidly watched the preaching services of Bro. Chet Strain.

Survivors include her sons, Kenneth and his wife, Marilene, Fincher of Nacogdoches and Charles Perry and his wife, Sandy, of Claremore, Okla.; grandsons, James Edward Fincher and his wife, Tammy, of Douglass, Michael Fincher and his wife, Kim, of Huntington, William Charles Fincher of Nacogdoches, Kenneth Perry and his wife, Becky, of Owasso, Okla., Robert Perry of Tulsa, Okla.; granddaughter, Gracie Green and her husband, Craig, of Cushing; eight great-grandchildren, Blake, Paige, Brandon and Dalton Fincher, Shelby, Tristan and Tyler Green as well as Ashton Perry; one brother, Joe Williams of Nacogdoches; and two sisters, Eva Youngblood of Jacksonville and Ruth Daniels of Lawrence, Kansas. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews in the Jacksonville area.

Mrs. Fincher was preceded in death by one son, Edward Dean Fincher ; and her husband of 50 years; William Edward ``Bill'' Fincher; as well as her parents.

Pallbearers will be Bobby Williams, Dean Horn, Craig Green, John Henson, Matthew Henson and William Fincher.

Honorary pallbearers will be E.B. Briley and Charles Perry.

The family will receive friends 6 until 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
