Ruby I. Montgomery
Former Skyway resident Ruby Inez Montgomery of Spanaway died Dec. 13, 2004, in Spanaway. She was 80.
Born Aug. 28, 1924, Glendale, Ark., she lived in Skyway for 27 years before moving to Spanaway.
A homemaker, Mrs. Montgomery was a member of the Auburn Missionary Baptist Church since 1966. She enjoyed sewing, fishing, traveling and camping.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James R. Montgomery Sr., in August 2002; sons, Marvin Montgomery and Melvin Montgomery; and a grandchild. She is survived by her son, J.R. Montgomery Jr. of SeaTac; daughters, Martha Clyde of Spanaway and Kathryn Krebs of Graham; sister, Retha Landsdale of Arkansas; 10 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. today at Greenwood Funeral Home in Renton. A funeral will be held at 1 p.m. today at the funeral home. Burial will be at Greenwood Memorial Park in Renton.
