Ruby Lee Click Pigg

Ruby Lee Click Pigg, 82, passed away Thursday, May 17, 2007, in Fort Worth.

Funeral: 2 p.m. Monday at Travis Avenue Baptist Church. Burial: Mount Olivet Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday at Greenwood Funeral Home.

Memorials: In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to the Music Ministry of Travis Avenue Baptist Church.

Ruby graduated from North Side High School. During World War II, she worked for Panther Oil and Grease. Through the years she was employed by Arthur Anderson and Shenadoah Oil and retired from Kell Oil. Ruby took great delight in her family and her church, Travis Avenue Baptist Church, and its music ministry, where she sang in the adult and senior choirs. Ruby was involved in Bible Study Fellowship for many years. She was an active member of the Peacemaker Sunday School Class for over 30 years and cared deeply for its members.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Johnnie Pigg Sr., on April 18, 2007.

Survivors: Daughter, Rhea Nell Milrany and husband, Terry, and their sons, Brad and Tyler; son, Johnnie Pigg Jr. and wife, Sue, and their daughters, Heather and Hannah; and a host of extended family and friends.
