NEWTON -- Services for Ruby Lucile Reynolds Williams will be held Monday at 10:30 a.m. at James F. Webb Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Steve Pouncey and Rev. William Boulton officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Vernon Cemetery.

Mrs. Williams, 89, of Newton, died Friday, Jan. 23, 2009, at The Specialty Hospital in Meridian. She was a retired seamstress, having been an employee of The Newton Company. Two of her favorite hobbies were working in her flower beds and sewing. She was a member of Mt. Vernon Baptist Church.

The family wishes to extend grateful appreciation to Bedford Care Center of Newton and The Specialty Hospital of Meridian for the professional care given to their loved one.

Survivors include: her sons: Rev. Lamar (Retha) Williams of Seminary; Ray (Ruby) Williams and Jerry (Cindy) Williams, both of Newton; her daughters: Faye Ethridge and Helen (Bill) Boulton, both of Newton; her grandchildren: Beverly (Randy) Loper; Susan (Mike) Rawls; Ron (Janice) Williams; Tim (Tanya) Collins; John (Kim) Collins; Tracy (Chris) Vance; Lisa (Greg) Nowell; Billy (Cindy) Boulton; David (Karen) Boulton; Chuck (Natella) Boulton; and Karen (James) Williams; 29 great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; her sisters: Virginia Blass of Union; and Carrie Commins of Brandon.

She was preceded in death by her husband: Charles Edgar ``Chub'' Williams; her parents: Walter Thomas and Carrie Walker Reynolds; her brothers: Cambel Reynolds, Austin Reynolds, Grover Reynolds, and Thomas Reynolds; and a great-grandchild: Troy Collins.

Pallbearers will be: Ron Williams, Tim Collins, John Collins, Billy Boulton, David Boulton, and Chuck Boulton.

Visitation will be today from 5:00 p.m. -- 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
