RUBY (WORL) JAVINE
RALSTON, OK. -- Funeral services for Ruby (Worl) Javine of Ralston, OK
and former Barnsdall
resident, were held recently. Mrs. Javine died on April 27, 1983 at her
home in Ralston.
Graveside services were held at the Fairfax Cemetery under the
direction of the Hunsaker Funeral
Home with the Rev. John Crowley officiating.
Mrs. Javine was born July 15, 1912 in Blackburn, OK. She married Dewey
Javine of Barnsdall at
Hominy, OK in 1941.
She is survived by one foster daughter, Shirley Ann of Tulsa; one
sister, Dorothy Robinson of Barnsdall; one brother, Bill Waters of
Oklahoma City; and a host of nieces and nephews.
She was
preceded in death by her parents, three brothers and two sisters.
The Javines lived in Barnsdall for several years and operated a cafe
known as the “Scotch Inn”. Later they moved to Florida and lived there
until they retired in Ralston five years ago.
